Safety, private hire cars and the law

As a recognised private hire company and members of the British Chauffeurs Guild and the National Private Hire Association we are required to adhere to strict regulations and legislation. We welcome these regulations because it means that we can assure our customers that we are legal, security checked – and above all, safe.

We are required to hold a private hire operator licence before we can accept bookings – and in order to be accepted for a licence, we must prove that we are ‘fit and proper’. We are also obliged to declare any criminal convictions, bankruptcy or past breaches of health and safety.

Our vehicles are checked daily by our in-house mechanics and have three MOTs per year. Although we are not obliged to have in-car meters, our costs are transparent and we always provide a full quote for each journey. We will honour this quote unless arrangements are changed before we reach your destination.

In order to become members of the British Chauffeurs Guild, we had to undertake and successfully complete the Guild’s Security Chauffeur Training Course.

Full access for passengers with disabilities

Our drivers are experienced at helping passengers with disabilities and we can comfortably accommodate wheelchairs and other mobility aids. When you contact us for a quote, simply let us know if you have any specific needs, and we will do our best to help.

Plate exempt cars

Our cars are plate exempt, which is a privilege only granted to certain, prestigious cars which are chauffeur driven and used for corporate work. This means that our clients can travel anonymously and discreetly.

Contact us now and we can discuss your travel requirements in detail.
